One Town Over are a Leicester based band who have been writing original songs over a decade with influences primarily from rock, indie and folk.
Initially the band formed as a trio of guitar, bass and vocals and performed for many years often as an acoustic act. In 2018 they decided to fill out the sound of the band so added drums and lead guitar to the line up. Since then they have been performing to appreciative crowds and renewing some of the earlier material to work with the new, full band line up.
Each member has worked in bands for decades, performing at venues and festivals all over the Midlands, honing their talent and developing their craft. One Town Over brings all those years of performance and song writing experience together with a passion for delivering great music, sharing stories of significance through emotive lyrics and uplifting music.
Thank you to everyone involved in putting this evenings gig on, from Wake up promotions, the wonderful staff at Firebug, Tony Wright, all the way to each and every person who came out on a cold night to support live music and a local independent venue. You're all superstars!
